bugfix: $? may be "contaminated" from another call. The best way is to check the trueness of the return value

This is needed for the eHive tables since we have an hard-coded list that
may not be completely in sync with the database to dump.
It also means that the Runnable will now *not* die if table_list contains a
table name that does not exist in the database

bugfix: chunk_length and chunk_size must be updated at the same time the sequences are written (thank you @mn1 !)

Doxygen doesn't like when a =head2 section is not linked to a method.
We had to move the comments to #-prefixed lines.

bugfix: substituting --password for --pass to pacify mysql 5.5.34+ that no longer recognizes options by their prefix
