to get overlapping contigs from static_golden_path table

took away throw statements in interface and replaced with warn - we should be tolerant of badly written externalfeature factories

taken N's out of account when calculating GC content - this led to false GC hotspots, and div by zero errors

added Karyotype calls and support on virtual contigs; fixed newgene test to skip due to supporting evidence change (need to discuss); still alot of "noise" on make test, but all tests do pass
