**UniFIRE** (The UniProt Functional annotation Inference Rule Engine) is a software to execute rules in the **UniProt Rule Markup Language (URML)** format. This software can predict functional annotations for protein sequences by using the [UniProt](https://www.uniprot.org/) annotation rules ([UniRule](https://www.uniprot.org/unirule/) and [SAAS](https://www.uniprot.org/saas/)).
