[Guidance on using the framework] (https://ebiwd.github.io/EBI-Pattern-library/)
## About
The framework is currently in late Beta testing (as of 20 July 2016).
This, the EBI Visual Framework, is the successor to the current EBI Compliance Theme and is targeted for an autumn 2016 release.
The project is an enhancement atop the Compliance Theme, updating the visual styles to EBI print colours and text, modern web design best practices -- such as responsive design, and to move to a versioned framework for improved maintenance cycles.
As of 7 June the project is in beta and we are focussing on outreach to minimise any unknown use cases before we begin focussing on bugs and optimisation.
The first release is v1.1 -- the current EBI Compliance Theme is the v1.0.
## Using this framework
